Description

The flat-faced oddhog (Platycephalosus hirsutus) is a bull-sized relative of Allochoerus. They belong to Allochoeridae, a small family of suines that descend from the modern bushpig, characterized by the presence of fused middle toes and large cheekbone protrusions.
