I made this picture long time ago, I just corrected some things in order to submit it here.

The animal presented is a representative of a primitive group of gravihyracoids. The two main recent groups of gravihyracoids, the "trunked forms" (such as Latodens: [link]) and the "non-trunked forms" (such as the Shepanotherium: [link]) may have diverged from a similar creature.
Noticeably smaller and less bulkier, unlike its distant relatives, the Latodens and the Shepanotherium which live in rather open areas, it inhabits the dense rainforests at central Africa.
This primitive gravihyracoid lives near watery areas, and fills a niche similar to that of the modern hippopotamus.
As a measure to prevent overheating it has wide ears and a flap of skin under its throat.
