Description
What would have happened if the mass extinction at the end of the Permian period never took place? This old project of mine explores that possibility. Enjoy this sneak-peek because I probably won't reveal anything else in a while.
From top to bottom:
1) A swift-built, short-faced descendant of the gorgonopsians with saber-like teeth.
2) A medium-sized, shaggy dicynodont descendant with fleshy lips and an inflatable nasal chamber.
3) A small-sized, hopping dicynodont descendant living in desertic areas. The wide tuft of hair on the head and the skin flaps at the sides of the neck are adaptations to high solar radiation and temperature.
4) A varanid-looking neo-cynodont.
5) A smallish, insectivorous neo-cynodont.
