Feathers, a flight of fancy

Yee, I hope I'm not late to the party...

I did this for an assignment soon after the anouncement of Yi qi's discovery, earlier this year. 
I was asked to create a comic strip concerning an important moment in the evolutionary history of amniotes. I chose the emergence of flight feathers, and the recent discovery of Yi qi was just too convenient to pass up.
